Spotlight of the Week: Corporate Fitness Works

At Doubletake Studios, we are all about leading an active and healthy lifestyle. We are also all about WBENC women-owned businesses (being one ourselves). That's why our spotlight of the week is on Corporate Fitness Works.
Corporate Fitness Works has been around since 1988. It is a certified woman-owned business that provides premier fitness consulting and management services across the nation. They are an industry leader in designing and delivering high-energy corporate and residential fitness and wellness solutions. Corporate Fitness Works teams share a passion for improving the health of their clients and their members. From their consulting experts to fitness professionals, management teams, and executive leaders, they are all committed to inspiring healthy-active lifestyles among each client and individual they reach.
Corporate Fitness Works is an amazing business whose core mission and values are truly dedicated to helping people live a better life while also creating a program that they hope to inspire people. I don't know about you, but I would much rather be inspired by a program than do a boring, routine workout. We admire that they do not rely on fad diets or seasonal workouts that people tend to start and never complete. Instead, Corporate Fitness Works focuses on creating an overall healthier lifestyle for individuals, something that makes it easier for them to stick with.

One of the founders of Corporate Fitness Works is Brenda Loube. Brenda is an admirable woman herself which makes us even more interested in Corporate Fitness Works. She is on the WBENC National Board of Directors and Leadership Forum. Brenda also is the author of the book, You Can Play (pictured above). You Can Play is a step-by-step guide for women who want to get into the game, but might not be sure how to move forward. It is both inspirational and motivational. Here is an excerpt from You Can Play:
"Most women assume that they cannot play sports. They leave all of the fun for children, young athletes  and men who have always enjoyed competitive physical activities. But playing sports is for everyone, and the enjoyment of team-based physical activity should be enjoyed by women of all ages. The benefits of team play start with improved health and physical well-being. But after just a short time involved in team sports, women develop broader skills that improve everything from their self-confidence to their relationships, families, and careers."
Brenda has taken her love for fitness, healthy lifestyle, and team-based sports while incorporating her leadership skills to found Corporate Fitness Works and write her book. She is an inspiration to many women and to us here at Doubletake Studios!

  1. Brenda is a great, motivating speaker! I heard her at an expo a year and a half ago and she inspired me to get back on track with my health and since then, I've lost 35 lbs! She was the catalyst that started it all. Go Brenda!
